One of the great things about studying web design is that everything you need to learn is available online and, for the most part, for free. There are more web design tutorials on the web than you could ever read through. You just have to take the time to go through some of the better ones and set up a schedule to learn what you need to learn.

Some people like to have more of a structure to learning and prefer enrolling in a program or series of classes that will take them from topic to topic. Learning web design this way is often easier in that you have an instructor and a group of fellow students to chat with in order to answer questions and help get you through topic areas where you may be having questions.
